Tasha Bonfanti Balsom studied Chinese Brush Painting with painting master, Chin Sei Yu when living in Vermont in the 1970’s. Tasha’s Chinese name, Chiun Yü, means Spring Jade. Studying individual plants and animals are at the heart of her work.
Tasha lives in Lexington, MA with her husband and two beautiful children who are fledgling artists themselves.
Tasha has had hundreds of exhibits in New England. She has been a member of the Stebbins Gallery in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Her work is also on display at the Conley Studio in Madrid, New Mexico and at several locations in Lexington MA.
Tasha is featured in “100 Artists of New England” by Schiffer Publishing Ltd.
